for teaching - the material covers both 'thematic' cases (like slavery,
immigration etc.) and also geographical areas.

This NC State University website provides information about the assessment
and evaluation of student learning in higher education. There are
links to articles, books and journal articles, along with other resources
on assessing student learning.

Blue Web'n is an online library of educational websites classifed
as of 'outstanding' quality. The websites are categorized by
subject, grade level, and format and are readily searchable.

- Using
Social Policy Research in Teaching
A case study to illustrate ways in which academics have used social
policy research in teaching. In this case study, the lecturer aims
to develop students' appreciation of research/consultancy by using
teaching and learning processes which simulate research processes.

The Public Broadcasting Service, a non-profit media enterprise, offers
a family of sites which have been created in order to help teachers,
students, and the general public to learn more about events around
the world through readings, lesson plans, links, timelines, and maps.
